RAGLog — Real-Time Log Anomaly Detection

  • Building an open-source log anomaly detection system using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with LLMs (Claude/GPT-4o), combining statistical methods (z-score) and Isolation Forest for anomaly scoring prior to LLM-based validation.
  • Designed a modular 5-stage pipeline: real-time ingestion of multiple log formats (Nginx, HDFS, Docker) → sliding window batching → hybrid statistical and ML-based scoring → Qdrant vector retrieval for baseline comparison and rule matching → LLM-driven classification and alert generation.
